What’s been happening:

Since graduation, I worked for Mobil Oil Company in Fairfax Virgina, Schlumberger Wireline Services in Bakersfield California and Edmonton Canada, Stone & Webster at Millstone Nuclear Power Station in Connecticut, Northeast Utilities at Millstone, and now with Dominion Nuclear Connecticut at Millstone. I went back to school and got my MBA in 2000 and it has opened many doors in my career. I am currently the Manager of Financial & Business Services at Millstone and am considering going to school through Dominion to become a Senior Reactor Operator, operating the plant! It is at Millstone that I met my true love and best friend, Rick. We married in January 2006 on a beach in Maui Hawaii at sunset which was most incredible! We have two beautiful children, Brandee and Christopher, along with three furry legged children which we adore. My brother, alumni Todd Heffelfinger (BS Electrical Engineering '88), just recently gave us a nephew, Derek, and we are hoping for more nieces and nephews that we can shower with love. Rick and I just purchased a new home closer to family so that we can spend more time with those that matter most in our lives. In my spare time, I serve on the Board of Directors for the local Women's Shelter and volunteer time at the Humane Society and local soup kitchen. Life is great and we are truly blessed.
